Basin Sports recently joined the Skiessentials.com family, keeping the Vermont family-owned feel of a small shop but expanding its access to brands and gear. Located on the access road to Killington Mountain the shop clientele ranges from passionate outdoor enthusiasts to beginners just getting into a sport. No matter the customer Basin shares their passion and knowledge of sports, whether it be for skiing, riding, biking, or hiking, onto the customer, creating a memorable experience.
We are looking for a customer service-oriented, retail sales associate who shares the same passions to join our growing team.
The Basin Ski Shop is seeking a ski and snowboard tech for the upcoming winter.
Candidate: Basin Sports is looking for a can-do, take initiative personality that thrives in a fast-paced working environment while maintaining a fun and positive attitude. Previous tuning experience is a plus but willing to train the right person. Applicant should have good communications skills, be good with their hands, and have the ability to learn from, and work well with others. Being active is also important as most of an 8hr shift is spent on your feet, moving skis around the shop.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Assessing skis for service
-Operating Wintersteiger Mercury machine for base grinds and edge bevels
-Perform top-sheet and base repairs
-Applying suitable wax applications
-Machine and workspace maintenance
-Maintaining a clean and organized tuning area
Positions available: We have part- or full-time positions available. Shifts are afternoons and evenings so you can hit the mountain for laps in the morning. Weekend availability a plus as that is the tuning department's busiest time.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
