Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. As a Cake Decorator, you will play a crucial role in crafting and decorating various cakes, handheld treats, and polar pizzas. Responsibilities:
- Design and decorate cakes, hand-held treats, and polar pizzas according to customer requests and brand standards
- Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant sculpting, and airbrushing, to create unique and visually appealing designs
- Ensure consistency and quality in all decorated products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the decorating area, including proper storage and handling of ingredients and equipment
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Occasionally create and post content on local social media platforms to promote our products and engage with the community
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cake decorator or pastry chef, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in various decorating techniques and tools
- Strong artistic ability and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation is a plus
