Description
The LVN is part of the team concept in the clinical setting for the delivery of healthcare at Main Street Obstetrics and Gynecology, BASS Medical Group. This position for an LVN will assist in delivery of obstetrics and gynecologic care in an office setting. This individual will be expected to work closely with the clinical staff, front desk personnel and physicians to provide comprehensive care to women in all stages of life. Our office goal to provide evidence-based excellent care in a warm and welcoming and relaxing environment.
This position will have primarily back-office duties including:
· Prepare and administer contraception injections under physician’s orders.
· Scrubbing schedules and planning ahead to optimize office flow.
· Prepare patients for examination.
· Calling patients with results after physician review
· Taking medical histories and reason for visits
· Taking vitals
· Initiating fetal monitoring for physician review
· Assist physician with exams and office procedures.
· Data entry into Electronic Health Record (Athena)
Mandatory qualifications:
· Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
· Medical terminology
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Comfort with interacting with patients of all stages of life.
· Strong computer skills.
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Must have excellent People skills and a Team Player
Requirements:
California Vocational Nurse Certification and License
Job Type: Full time Monday – Friday 730am-430pm (1 hr for lunch)

Pay Scale/Ranges:
$30.00-$46.50 hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
*Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The patey scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
