Our practice is seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant . This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence. This position will consist of duties including:
Responsibilities:
· Preparing patient for exams and/or procedures
· Vitals and rooming patients
· Administering medications
· Maintaining exam rooms
· Maintaining medical supplies and inventory for rooms
· Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
· Scanning and faxing
· Insurance Authorizations and Referral Entry
· Medical Record entry
· Scheduling/Rescheduling Appointments
Requirements
· Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
· 1 years Back Office experience
· MA Certificate
· Medical terminology
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
· Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Compensation will be based on experience
Pay Scale/Ranges:
$21.00 - $39.00 per hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
*Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The pay scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
