POSITION SUMMARY:
Our team is seeking a detailed-oriented Spa Attendant to provide courteous service and information to our guests, while maintaining a pristine facility. It is the responsibility of the Spa Attendant to maintain high standards of meeting guests every need while keeping the environment clean and relaxing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greeting guests in a professional manner anticipating any needs they may have during their visit.
- Understand the services offered.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility.
- Monitor laundry needs, ensuring that all robes, towels, wash cloths, linens, and sandals are washed, sanitized and stored appropriately.
- Track the daily spa supply needs.
- Prepare spa facility for opening and closing as directed by management.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, protocols, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine notes or reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Mathematical Skill: Ability to use basic math to report supply needs.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems and seek help from management or front desk team.
- Computer Skills: Ability to look at a computer and judge how many guests will be there for the day. Will answer phones and pass along messages to team members.
- Other Skills and Abilities: The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
