What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Cashier position at Bass Pro Shops?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Greeting all guests when they come through the door. Making reservations for all guests. Taking to go orders over the phone. Seating guests in the correct locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsibility. Creates floor charts for servers
- Responsibility. Greet all guests that come into dine
- Responsibility. Chat with guests on the phone when taking to-go orders
- Responsibility. Escort guests to the proper tables
- Responsibility. Assists servers with guests
- Responsibility. Manage the guests counts for the servers
- Responsibility. Assists guests with questions about resort.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Great listening skills
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Dependable transportation to and from work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regularly: Computer Work, Walking, Standing
- Occasionally: Walking
- Seldom/Never: Sitting, Lifting up to 50lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
