Summary: To provide courteous service and information to each guest at the Spa, while keeping the facility and areas used by the guest pristine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

1. Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner, escort guests to their respective dressing areas and give a spa tour so that the guest knows where everything is located.

2. Clean showers, bathrooms, relaxation rooms, bridal suite, outdoor patios, hallways, baseboards, counters, windows, and the grotto pool area throughout the day. This may include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning around the base of and bowl (inside and around the rim) of toilets, etc.

3. Laundry includes loading the washer and dryer throughout the day, folding and putting it away, cleaning, and sanitizing sandals then matching pairs for restocking locker rooms. Daily laundry that is delivered daily must be folded and put away. delivered laundry consists of spa robes, towels, wash cloths, sheets and other items used in daily operations. Maintain a supply of fresh linens. Collect used robes and towels and place them in separate dirty linen bins located at the back of the house. Bags of used linens can weigh up to 40 plus pounds, and carts are provided to transport all linens to the back of the house via the central elevator.

4. Uncover all outdoor patio furniture throughout the spa at the beginning of the day. Cover all outdoor patio furniture at the end of the day.

5. Change the water bottle (5-gallon jug) in the dispenser as needed. Fill water jugs in treatment halls and locker rooms and clean with bleach 3 times weekly or more frequently if needed. Restock snacks as needed.

6. Alert manager to low inventory of Spa supplies weekly.

7. Offer guests an alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage. Communicate the orders with the front desk and serve the beverages of choice to the guest. Watch for any guest who seems to be intoxicated and report to the front desk and management Immediately.

8. Will be required to attend/perform Mandatory Workday training according to company requirements and policies throughout the year.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience: High school graduate preferred or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, protocols, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine notes or reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Mathematical Skill: Ability to use basic math to report supply needs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems and seek help from management or front desk team.

Computer Skills: Ability to look at a computer and judge how many guests will be there for the day. Will answer phones and pass along messages to team members.

Other Skills and Abilities: The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a fast-paced, physically-taxing position. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and climb stairs, or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
