Document Distribution Associate - Plantation, FL (onsite)
Pay starting at $18.00 per hour
Bass Underwriters, Inc. is seeking a Document Distribution Associate to join our headquarters team located in Plantation, Florida. This role ensures that all incoming documentation is properly scanned, filed, and distributed within our internal systems. Duties include opening, sorting, and scanning incoming mail, indexing incoming fax, email, and scanned mail items, and scanning and processing checks to the correct department. Assistance with answering incoming calls is also needed. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly organized with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.

- Open, sort and scan all incoming mail (ImageRight or USPS)
- Index all incoming fax, email and scanned mail
- Distribute documents to different departments via ImageRight
- Scan and process all checks
- Track, monitor and assist the indexing team
- Assist with Incoming calls as needed; determine purpose of calls and forward to appropriate personnel department
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.)
- Computer skills required (Word, Outlook)
- Scanning Skills required
- Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with a commitment to company values
- Physical demands may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
