UPHOLSTERY TRIMMER FURNITURE MANUFACTURING
An upholstery Trimmer will trim and complete the outside of the upholstered piece of furniture.
Responsibilities:
- Applies black bottom and panels to furniture using a compressed air staple gun.
- Closes the out arms and out backs of the piece of furniture
- Applies tack strips
- This job requires continuous stapling with one hand while pulling the material with the other hand to complete the sofa, loveseat, chair or ottoman according to specifications.
- Physical requirements are standing all day, bending, occasionally may have to lift 80 to 100 pounds.
Follow all safety procedures while performing the position
Qualifications/Skills
- 6 months or more of experience working as an upholsterer in a fast paced production setting
- Must be quality oriented
- Ability to work well in a team oriented environment
- Must be 18 years of age or older
