Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our staff.
The faculty practice consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 cardiac surgeons, and 18 advanced practice clinicians. We have an active coronary interventional program with over 500 interventions yearly, as well as busy EP, structural and open heart programs. It is a teaching program with 2 new cardiology fellows each year.
The role will include diagnostic catheterization, coronary interventions, and an outpatient clinical practice. An interest in TEE or coronary CT would be welcomed, as would an interest in starting a PERT program. Interventional call is currently one in three with a goal of 4 full time interventionalist. Our cardiac cath labs have a busy schedule of diagnostic and interventional coronary cases, as well as structural heart disease including percutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR), left atrial appendage closure, and patent foramen ovale closure.

- Salary Range: $615,000 - $715,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
