Job Description

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician in Norwich, NY. Visa Sponsorship Available.

Norwich, New York is located half way between Syracuse and Binghamton. Peaceful neighborhoods, a terrific educational system, and city services in a village setting make Norwich an idyllic place to live, work, raise a family, and enjoy one's senior years. The surrounding areas have an abundance of lakes, streams and mountains that form the Catskill Mountain Range and the Adirondack State Park.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Norwich Health Center is a (NYS) Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication and patient involvement
• Join an established group of 2 full time physicians, 4 advanced care clinicians
• Traditional outpatient practice, Monday – Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• No OB
• School based health coverage for pediatric patients
• A first call system is in place with a nurse practitioner/physician assistant on call for your patients.
• EMR-EPIC
• Loan Repayment may be available through Federal and State Loan Repayment Programs
• Salary Range: $267,616 - $345,110. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-on bonus is up to $200,000
