Overview
Bassett Healthcare Network a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a full-time Neurologist to build a Stroke subspecialized practice. Visa Sponsorship Available.

The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields. More than 400 full-time salaried physicians and advanced practice clinicians deliver patient centered care to over 200,000 patients served within the network.

Job Description & Responsibilities
- Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting
- Opportunity to develop a neurology specialty program
- Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% of the time in Stroke
- Mostly in-person outpatient clinic with opportunity for some remote tele-neurology
- Opportunity for academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students
- Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester
- Very limited call; 2-4 days per month
- Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
- EMR-EPIC
- Salary Range : $240,000 - $340,000 . This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
