What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Wrapper/Clerk position at Bassett's Market?
· Must be available days/nights, weekends & some holidays - up to 30 hours per week, opportunity for advancement
Will work in temperatures of 0-55 degrees
Wraps, dates, weighs, packages, merchandises product and case
· Operates stock dollies, scales, cleans meat rooms – uses case cutters
· Stocks product in cases with temperatures below freezing
· Lift and stack up to 100 pounds and up to 6 feet high
· Push or pull wheeled vehicles, operate pallet jacks, ordering equipment and baler
· Unload delivery vehicles of merchandise
· Maintain product rotation on a FIFO basis and control loss
· Willing to learn the sanitation program and become certified with a formal sanitation program
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
