Role

Basta Boatlifts is seeking an experienced Fabricator in SeaTac, WA. The right fit for us is someone who is not only a skilled craftsman, but is also a reliable, fun and focused team member. With a team manufacturing team of 10, we need team members who are willing and interested to help in other departments when there is a need. You would be working with 2-3 welders, several fabricators and manufacturing associates. Responsibilities:

• Assist welders, machinists, and operators
• Assist with mechanical assembly
• Maintain shop and yard cleanliness/organization
• Material handling, deburring, tapping, aluminum finishing, etc.
• Palletizing and banding
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Supportive of change
• Can clearly communicate, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Experience with power & hand tools, reading tape measure, reading drawings
• History of good attendance- on-time, every day
• Legally allowed to work in United States
• Prior employer references
• Self-starter that works well in a team environment and individually

Fabricator is also known as Production Associate, Shop Technician, or Manufacturing Associate.

Location: Our production facility is within walking distance of the Angle Lake light rail station if that is a benefit to you.

License/Certification:

• Forklift operator (not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
