Title: Team Lead
Duties: Bastian Solutions, LLC seeks a Team Lead reporting to headquarters in Carmel, Indiana to provide technician support and troubleshooting for electro-mechanical, pneumatic and PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) controls. Ensure the operation of our onsite support teams, provide technical assistance to end-users, maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, and foster the professional development of onsite supervisors and direct reports. Mentor a team of onsite support technicians, including onsite supervisors. Provide operations and maintenance teams support in industrial plant environments. Drive safety and risk management initiatives. Oversee the day-to-day operations of onsite support services, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues for automation control systems and product handling systems. Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Collaborate with other departments to understand client needs and ensure the delivery of high-quality onsite support services. Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends relevant to onsite support services. Deliver hands-on technical support when needed, especially in critical or high-priority situations. Provide commercial/industrial customer interfacing and negotiation in service agreements. Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain effective support procedures. Ensure accurate documentation of onsite support activities, including resolutions, procedures, and client interactions. Generate regular reports on team performance, key metrics, and service level agreements. Position may work from various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States up to 50% of time. Annual Salary: $90,000 - $110,000.
Requirements: Requires 10 years of electrical/instrumentation technician experience with each of the following: (1) electro-mechanical, pneumatic and PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) troubleshooting; (2) providing operations and maintenance teams support in industrial plant environments; (3) Commercial/Industrial customer interfacing and negotiation in service agreements; (4) driving safety and risk management initiatives; and (5) automation control systems and product handling systems.
