The Radar Frequency Engineer will support the Space Force contract at the Vandenberg Space Force Base, California . In this position, you will perform engineering functions to design, develop, modify, integrate, and test new subsystems on mono-pulse tracking radars on the Western Test Range. This position will lead an engineering team with the technical aspects of projects and the supporting multi-disciplined project teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Design, develop, and execute new capabilities used by tracking radars.
- Perform complex system modeling, simulation, and analysis to provide the most appropriate technical solution.
- Plan, conduct, and assist the project manager in the execution of engineering projects.
- Coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel for assigned projects.
- Analyze, develop, recommend, and implement approaches to meet customer requirements.
- Serve as an interface for project information to internal management and the customers.
- Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Provide expertise to restore operational systems.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience working with RF to include local oscillators, doublers, mixers and attenuators.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED :

SALARY RANGE : 110-117K
