The Systems Engineer - Gateway HALO will support deep space exploration on the JETS II contract in Houston, Texas.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop recommendations and plans for application of systems engineering principles (such as NASA NPR 7123).
• Coordinate technical activities to anticipate and prevent problems, optimize requirements, and design solutions.
• Coordination of development and management of interfaces as well as integrated analyses and margins.
• Identify technical risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and determine resource requirements.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, define individual and team goals, set priorities & deadlines, identify key stakeholders, clearly communicate requirements and needs.
• Represent the team and stakeholder interests at various boards and with both domestic and international customers.
• Act as interface for the management of test schedules and test definitions that satisfy project and program goals and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
