Job Title: Temporary, Fine Arts
Reports to: Fine Arts Department
Dept./School: Fine Arts
Primary Purpose: Provide support for events held by the Fine Arts Department.
Minimum Education/Certification:
- High school Diploma
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Skills
- Knowledge of public school operations
- Office skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic theatre knowledge
- Good with large crowds
Experience:
- Work with public school children
Safety:
- Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing and carrying
- Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the immediate supervisor
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
- Tools/Equipment Used: Classroom materials and resources, personal computers and peripherals, theatre equipment and tools, scissor lift
- Posture: Climbing, stooping, bending, and kneeling
- Motion: Frequent use of hand movements
- Lifting: Regular lifting and carrying of 15-20 pounds; occasional heavy lifting and carrying of 45 pounds and over
- Environment: Irregular hours
- Mental Demands: High use of concentration, communication, and reasoning; must be able to understand verbal and written instructions and interpret, analyze and memorize; maintain emotional control under stressful conditions
