BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: Support district staff with the installation, implementation, and operational needs of all district application systems – Student Accounting, Finance, Payroll, Food Service, Curriculum & Instruction. Support the entire life cycle of software applications, including gathering business requirements, selecting appropriate software, and supporting software applications. Support the data relationship for all district applications and databases. Provide training to staff to facilitate the effective use of technology in various applications. Provide technology integration support in the use of software to multiple campuses through targeted training and collaboration with the curriculum and instruction staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
- Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent Microsoft Certs, CCNA, Network , Server , VCP-DCV, VCAP-DCV, CCNP/Data Center, or CCIE/Data Center certifications preferred

- Strong understanding of architecting and configuring Microsoft Windows OS technology including AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and PC operating systems
- Knowledge of SCCM package creation, image creation and software maintenance
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Knowledge of Scripting language
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and concepts
- Experience with change control and incident managements
Experience:
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience maintaining and supporting a Microsoft environment and Active Directory

Management of Administrative, Fiscal and/or Facilities Functions:
- Configure, manage, support the hardware and software on managed servers; This includes evaluation and testing of operating system patches and endpoint protection; Assessing current and expected server infrastructure needs and monitor all effects of server modifications.
- Troubleshoot SCCM complex issues; Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure the SCCM imaging and remote management system is functional.
- Maintain SCCM system and client security updates; Ensure the SCCM system and client functions properly.
- Configure, test, document and update the client images; Create workstation image files (WIM) for standard Windows and/ or other operating systems; Ensure applications are stable and function well with all web and server-based applications; Maintain documentation to keep current in helping to identify application compatibility impacts; Review hardware additions or changes that may impact client images.
- Configure, test, document and update software package deployments; Ensure packages are fully tested to minimize negative impact in the field; Develop and maintain software matrix tracking for all software and services deployed in the district, along with current requirements related to PC images.
- Update, manage and maintain the SCCM task sequences; Review, assess and analyze the log files within the SCCM system; Monitor and maintain client software life cycle management; Recommend software life cycle upgrades, as necessary; Ensure that current and up to date images are available for deployment to the district field technicians for field dispatched installations.
- Configure, manage, and support district mobile device management services.
- Ensure the reliability of required backups for all possible recovery scenarios.
- Handle multiple projects with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users; Analyze and isolate issues; Consult with management and vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Document all work performed and keep accurate inventory records.
- Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
