MPH Adjunct Faculty
The Department of Public Health is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach courses for MPH students as part of an Adjunct pool. Bastyr University Kenmore campus is located 15 miles north of Seattle. The Bastyr University MPH program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. This is an Adjunct Faculty Position that includes didactic courses in a hybrid format.
Responsibilities

Teach didactic and lab courses for MPH students

Organize course structure and teach with regard to course learning outcomes
- Create and post course syllabi and course materials on the learning management system (Canvas)
- Assess and record student learning and progress
- Submit end of course grades
- Track student attendance, as needed
- Advise students as needed to support student success

Qualifications
Education: Masters. or Ph.D. in Public Health or a Related Field
Experience: Minimum of two years teaching at the university level. Experience with Canvas classroom learning system, preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
Demonstrated excellence in inclusive teaching. Excellent organizational and communication skills writing-speaking-listening.
