Description
Do you have experience driving forklift? Does powder coating and wet painting interest you?
Then BASX Solutions wants you to become our new Paint Hanger/Helper!
What you will be doing:
Preparation of parts and assemblies for powder paint, powder paint application, curing, inspection, and packaging. Driving forklift to transport both prepped and completed parts. Willing to train the right person with no powder coating experience.

Duties:

Works in all activities of the paint department

Support delivery schedules while maximizing productivity

Set-up equipment: prepare powder, fire oven, adjust equipment settings for quality, etc.

Primary forklift driver for the department

Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Effective communication and planning skills are required
• Standing, walking, sitting, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• This job requires that the employee occasionally bend, twist, reach
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
Preferred:
- Powder Coat experience is a plus
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Forklift experience a plus
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Respirators will be provided as necessary.
Salary : $19 - $21
