We are looking for a detail-oriented quality auditor to oversee our quality control processes. You will be reviewing products for customer compliance, assessing production procedures, and evaluating process adherence in the manufacturing space. You may also need to train employees on quality standards and processes.
To ensure success as a quality auditor, you should possess in-depth knowledge of manufacturing practices and an ability to communicate well with both written and spoken words. An outstanding quality auditor will be someone who can assess the quality of our products, can organize their schedule well, and effectively pass on information to a variety of groups in a timely manner.
Job Summary: Ensure compliance with BASX’s Quality Management System and manufacturing best practices through various processes, including data collection, root cause analysis, documentation, team mentoring, and process auditing.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in the implementation of new processes and enhancements alongside Quality Auditor and Quality Control teams.
- Follows directions from a quality engineering technician (QET) or quality engineer to collect data and document current procedures.
- Demonstrates proficiency in hands-on learning and utilization of QA tools, with a strong focus on safety and adherence to BASX standards.
- Ensures adherence to company quality standards and timely completion of products as per design specifications.
- Collaborates with quality team leaders and production leaders to communicate quality changes effectively and update processes, tools, and documents accordingly.
- Conducts unit audits and process audits according to schedule.
- Analyzes audit trends to identify improvement opportunities and training needs.
- Travels to various locations to support projects, introduce new quality initiatives, and maintain uniformity across all sites.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Experience or education in STEM related technical field. Knowledge or experience in the quality environment is beneficial. Competent keyboarding and computer skills, especially using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams) a plus.

Work Environment:
- Work is performed in an indoor manufacturing facility where temperatures can vary with the seasons, ranging from hot in the summer to cold in the winter. The environment includes exposure to dust and occasional chemical fumes as part of normal working conditions.
- Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Walk up and down stairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Required to wear proper personal protective equipment.
