Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Determine decision maker and points of contact within merchant opportunity. Determine merchant card services needs and prepare to coordinate appointments for the NBD Executive to sell services that address these needs.
- Contact prospective merchants through cold calling and outbound marketing efforts to present information and explain available services via phone.
- Self-source leads based on ideal client profile to add to pipeline.
- Log and track activities in the CRM daily.
- Develop prospects from cold outbound prospecting, inbound leads and trade shows.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist the sales manager with day-to-day tasks associated with a BDR.
- Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of a specific business.
- Occasionally travel to trade shows to represent Basys.
- Modify and adjust sales processes as needed, with input from management.
- Assist with marketing efforts when needed, such as mailings to prospects.
- Other requests as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
- This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to one day per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, or other related fields is preferred
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience selling, opening new accounts and relationship management preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
