Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. As a front desk lead, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to travel to our other offices.
Duties
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries
- Verify patient information and process medical records
- Checking patients in and out of appointments while ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic health record systems such as Nextech and AdvancedMD
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication
- Handle billing and insurance information including verification and collection of copays
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the office
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in office software and familiarity with EHR systems
- Access to reliable transportation
