What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant position at Bates County Memorial Hospital?
Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and within the limitations of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, the Emergency Certified Nursing Assistant delivers Emergency Nursing care consistent with the job description. Administers competent nursing care to any patient seeking physiological or psychological health care presenting to this Emergency Department. The delivery of care include data collection, documentation, and implementation of nursing interventions as delineated in Bates County Memorial Hospital’s policies and procedures/Nursing Structural Standards. ED CNA will assist the nursing staff by providing efficient clerical and other office duties under the direction of the ED RN’s, as well as well as the Supervisor of the Emergency Department. The ED CNA provides services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Bates County Memorial Hospital.
Experience and Education:
Minimum:
- BLS upon hire or within 3 months and participate in yearly recertification.
- Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing
- Able to respond and perform duties in stressful environment and react/respond immediately to emergency
