Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate field plumbing crews in the Atlanta area.
- Implement operational procedures and safety protocols in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Conduct site visits and audits to assess project progress, crew performance, and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with project management to ensure seamless project planning and execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to installation crews, addressing any challenges that arise during projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports highlighting performance metrics, project outcomes, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to enhance employee engagement, drive recruitment, and manage performance.
- Onboard and train new plumbing crew members, ensuring they are well-versed in safety practices, installation techniques, and product knowledge.
- Conduct regular training sessions for both new and existing installation crews to maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the management of fleet vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained, equipped, and utilized efficiently for project needs.
- Allocate crew resources, ensuring teams are prepared for each project.
- Responsible for hiring and firing plumbers, ensuring a high standard of skill, professionalism, and work ethic in the field.
- Oversee the recruitment process for Project Managers (PMs), ensuring the right candidates are selected for leadership and project management roles.
- Collaborate with the estimating division to review and communicate project workload, helping to maintain a consistent and balanced workflow across all departments.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for PMs, Assistant Project Managers (APMs), and plumbers, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead the training and development of field talent, ensuring plumbers and field staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and advance in their careers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or related field experience
- Degree preferred: Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a managerial role within the construction industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
