What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Sales Consultant position at Bates Nissan?

- Sales Consultant spend time with customers and determine their needs and discuss vehicle options
- Sales Consultant commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of vehicles and technology
- Sales Consultant test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features (Safety 1st)
- Be able to present New and Used vehicles
- Search for prospective customers
- Support customers by setting appointments and follow up with them as well as with a Sales/Finance Manager
- Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads
The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed.

- Be able to overcome obstacles
- Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience. Automotive experience not necessary - we will train the right individual.
- Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
- Basic computer, email and internet proficiency
- Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Be able to pass a drug test

Pay: $30,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
