What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier / Garden Center Associate position at Bates Nursery & Garden Center?
Experienced applicants preferred. All duties related to operating a point of sale checkout station. Our checkout personnel work in 'teams' to expedite the process. You may either be physically at the keyboard or operating the scanner. There will be many times where both duties are required. The majority of the items we sell are on our barcode scan system. We additionally have items that require recognition skills for various sized smaller potted plants.We can train you quickly to our particular nuances. You must already have sufficient technical skills to operate a Mac environment, POS system.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
