What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Media Center Coordinator position at Batesville Community School Corp?
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Implement the daily program of activities for students enrolled in the Batesville High School Career Readiness Academy.
2. Maintain a well-organized, safe, and conducive learning environment for students pursuing an alternative high school education.
3. Facilitate implementation of an Individualized Service Plan for each Career Readiness Academy student.
4. Establish, maintain, and grow positive relationships with all Career Readiness Academy students and their families to best implement Individualized Service Plan.
5. Work collaboratively with guidance counselors, certified instructors, and special education teachers to meet student accommodations.
6. Maintain appropriate student behavior in the learning environment and accompanying spaces.
7. Ability to document student performance and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
1. Preference given to candidates with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
2. Experience working in a school setting.
