This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to collaborate in person as needed—either at our Batesville, IN corporate office or in Indianapolis, IN on a weekly basis.
Your Role At Batesville
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned designers and marketing professionals to bring creative ideas from ideation to execution. You will have the ability to contribute to a variety of projects, ranging from product launches to digital campaigns, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Graphic Design Intern will report to the Manager, Brand & Creative Services.

The Graphic Design Intern will report to the Manager, Brand & Creative Services.

- Assist in designing marketing materials, including brochures, sells sheets, PowerPoint presentations, eBooks, social media graphics, email campaigns, website visuals, and various other assets.
- Support the design team in maintaining consistency across all visual touchpoints.
- Assist in creating videos and animations.
- Work closely with the brand and digital marketing services team as well as the cross-functional product management, product marketing, tech-enabled sales and technology team to deliver cohesive and impactful designs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and providing fresh, innovative ideas.
- Receive mentorship from experienced brand managers, designers and copywriters
- Participate in department creative workshops and knowledge sharing exercises to enhance your technical and conceptual design skills.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Pursing a college degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite such as InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat.
- Project management skills, detail oriented, self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong design and layout abilities.
