Ultrasound Technologist $5,000 Sign-On Bonus w/ 2 year commitment!!! We are seeking a skilled and versatile Ultrasound Technologist who possesses expertise in ultrasound imaging. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations while also being capable of fulfilling radiology technologist duties as needed. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:

- Conduct ultrasound examinations following established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of various body parts and systems, including but not limited to abdomen, pelvis, and gynecology.
- Assess images for clarity and accuracy, adjusting equipment settings as necessary to optimize image quality.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate interpretations of ultrasound findings.
- Maintain patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound, attending training sessions and continuing education programs as needed.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in Ultrasound.
- State licensure or certification as required by regulatory agencies.
- Current ACLS and BLS certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in both ultrasound and radiology technology (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and practices.
- Registered Technologist (preferred but not required)
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
