Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Responsibilities for Accounting Assistant
- Processing order confirmations, vendor receipts, vendor billing, etc. in Priority ERP
- Scanning and filing of receiving and all AP related documents into electronic filing system
- Review and match all documents from PO to vendor billing verifying accuracy of parts and prices
- Submission of bill payments according to vendor terms
- Collaboration with other departments to resolve any discrepancies with purchase orders or inventory quantities / pricing
- Collaboration with vendors on billing issues
- May help with other accounting related duties as needed, such as purchasing, inventory or Accounts Receivable
