Qualifications:
2 year Associate's Degree, OR
60 college credits, OR
a passing score on the KY Paraprofessional Test.
** Equivalent experience as Administrative Assistant may be considered.

Reports To:
Federal Programs Director and/or DPP and Superintendent.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Performs a wide variety of specialized and responsible duties independently in support of functions delegated to the Director of Federal Programs or other District Administrator including Finance, Human Resources and Director of Pupil Personnel.
- Interprets and applies rules and regulations as appropriate.
- Coordinates communication between the D.O.F.P., students educational institutions, vendors, other outside organizations, and the public which may include; Community Engagement, Social Media and Website updates.
- Obtains and provides information, coordinates activities, and resolves problems as necessary
- Researches, reviews, checks, corrects and compiles a variety of information; verifies data for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established procedures.
- Inputs, retrieves, and maintains computerized data as required.
- Prepares and maintains a variety of records, logs and files including information of a confidential nature while maintaining the confidentiality of the information and records.
- Schedules meetings, conferences and appointments for D.O.F.P.; maintains D.O.F.P.'s calendar and arranges travel accommodations as necessary.
- Compiles information and data for a variety of reports; organizes, types, and prints reports and other written materials related to assigned general office functions.
- Answers and fields incoming call to the district office and responds to requests for information from students, staff and the general public regarding District programs, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Types a wide variety of materials such as correspondence, reports, contracts, forms, applications, memoranda and
other documents.
- Receives, processes and routes mail; orders, issues and maintains department supplies, forms, and equipment.
13.Trains and provides work direction to other departmental clerical support staff as assigned.
- Secretarial duties for the front office to include, but not limited to: answering phones, screening calls, filing, copying and mailing correspondence for District Office personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
