Title: Maintenance Technician II
Qualifications:
- Skilled carpenter and/or years of experience.
Reports To:
Head Maintenance/Facilities Director
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Work on all maintenance requests which Includes but not limited to: plumbing, repair, doors & door locks, windows, door closures, floor tiles, water coolers, also some electrical work.
- Mowing, trimming tree limbs, picking up trash.
- Going to pick up supplies & parts in Morehead, Lexington, and Mt. Sterling.
- Work with Specialized Maintenance/HVAC on any problems on heating & air conditioning in classrooms.
- Assists with electrical repairs and Installation of receptacles, coolers, motors or pumps in furnace room & cooling tower. Change all filters at the VO-Ag, Board Office & Annex and all schools.
- On the call list for the fire alarm system for all buildings
- Responsible for locking up & security
- Work with Specialized Maintenance/HVAC with service and do maintenance on all units in the school system.
- General Maintenance and repair to all buildings and grounds.
- Any other Duty or responsibility assigned by Supervisor or Superintendent.
Terms of Service:
240 Days-8 hrs/day. Salary schedule set by Board of Education.
