About the Role: Payroll Specialist
The Payroll Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency in commission calculations and payments. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical and organizational skills, a solid understanding of payroll and sales data, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Update commission sheets daily with new sales, notes, and payment schedules.
- Review GM updates and transfer information to commission sheets.
- Stay informed on financing options and related commission rates.
- Manage change orders, adjusting retail prices, discounts, and commission totals.
- Run and share reports on outstanding change orders with the team.
- Compare Lead Perfection revenue totals to GM totals on a month-to-date basis.
- Partner with sales leadership to address commission-related inquiries and disputes.
- Analyze sales data for bi-weekly commission payouts and monthly bonuses.
- Prepare detailed reports on commission trends, payouts, and discrepancies for leadership.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely commission payments.
- Recommend improvements to commission structures, processes, and tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and contractual agreements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 2 years of experience in payroll, commissions, or related roles (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Experience with payroll systems or CRM software is a plus (e.g., Lead Perfection, ADP).
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
