What You’ll Do:
- Maintain, repair, and operate distribution system components
- Conduct meter maintenance and assist customers with concerns
- Keep accurate records of distribution activities and inventory
- Provide facility location information to utilities and contractors
- Respond to emergency calls and alarms promptly
What We’re Looking For:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid State of Maine Class “C” Driver’s License
- Ability to obtain a State of Maine Class II Distribution License
- Knowledge of water distribution systems, meters, and maintenance
- Strong ability to follow instructions, work independently, and lift up to 60 lbs
- Availability for weekend work and emergency on-call duties (must respond within 20 minutes)
- Bonus Skills: Prior experience with excavation, dump trucks, or loader backhoes
