JOB DESCRIPTION

Bathhouse is looking for a detail-oriented, skilled, and hands-on Overnight Facilities Technician to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring that Bathhouse operates seamlessly through the night by maintaining our facilities, addressing repairs, and ensuring everything is in top condition for our guests and team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure all operating protocols are being observed at all times.
Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential issues, such as water damage or electrical concerns.
Maintain the appearance and functionality of pool areas, locker rooms, and all operational spaces.
Restock and organize items like towels and slippers, and assist with cleaning as needed.
Execute overnight maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
Respond to and resolve any urgent maintenance issues during your shift and from the day.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Plumbing :

Pipe installation and repair (e.g., copper, PVC, PEX).

Fixture installation and repair (e.g., toilets, sinks, showers).

Leak detection and repair.

Carpentry :

Basic woodworking (e.g., doors, shelves, framing).

Drywall repair (e.g., patching, sanding).

Electrical :

Troubleshooting electrical issues (e.g., outlets, switches).

Fixture installation and replacement (e.g., lights, fans).

General Maintenance :

Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities are in excellent condition.

Soft Skills :

Problem-solving and safety awareness.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Plumbing : Advanced skills like water heater installation / repair and basic knowledge of plumbing codes.

Carpentry : Painting, decorating, and flooring installation / repair.

Electrical : Circuit breaker replacement, basic wiring, and code compliance knowledge.

Soft Skills : Strong communication, time management, attention to detail, and customer service abilities.

DESIRED SKILLS

Experience : 6-12 months in facilities or maintenance roles (preferred).

Education : High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Certification in Adult CPR and First Aid, or willingness to obtain.

Physically able to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Job Type : Full-time, overnight shift (12 AM - 8 AM). Night and weekend availability required.

Pay : $30-36 per hour.
