  1. Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Responsible for preparing all food items for the workstation according to recipes or instructions from the Executive Chef/Food Manager. This includes hot/cold food items used in the Kitchen and Snack Bar, as well prepares, cooks, and serves full meals for club staff.

 

  1. Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)
  1. Collects food and beverage products and small wares required for menu preparation.
  2. Prepares meat, seafood, vegetables, and poultry required for service and staff meals.
  3. Carefully follow recipes while preparing assigned items for service.
  4. Responsible for staff meals, utilizing leftovers as instructed by Executive Chef.
  5. Collaborate with the Executive Chef/Food Manager on menus for staff meals.
  6. Carefully follow recipes while preparing assigned items for service.
  7. Prepares and serves staff lunch in accordance with established portion and presentation standards, ensuring proper food temperatures and sanitation.
  8. Set-up, maintain and break down Staff meal station.
  9. Operates food production equipment according to manufacturers’ instructions.
  10. Report on all staff complaints to the Executive Chef/Food Manager and assists in resolving complaints.
  11. Returns leftover food items that have been properly wrapped and labeled, to the appropriate areas.
  12. Provide recommendations for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the staff meal station and equipment.
  13. Ensure that walk-ins are clean and organized, and that the workstation and equipment maintain the highest sanitary conditions to the Board of Health Stations.
  14. Maintains a neat professional appearance and adhere to personal hygiene standards.
  15. Attend staff meetings.
  16. Perform other appropriate tasks assigned by Executive Chef/Food Manager.
