Position : Executive Director
The Baton Rouge Bar Association is seeking a highly motivated, experienced leader to assume the role of Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for directing, leading, and managing the affairs of the Bar Association and implementing its policies for the overall benefit of the organization and its membership. The Executive Director will ensure that the daily activities of the Association are carried out in a manner consistent with its strategic direction.
Overview of Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Association and Foundation, including staff organization, delegation of responsibilities, and supervision of staff. Manage finances, marketing, programming, technology, and human resources.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors in setting policy, articulating the vision and mission of the Association, as well as setting short term and long-term strategic goals.
- Implement and oversee programs supporting the professional well-being of our members.
- Represent the Bar Association at local, state and national events.
