DATA ENGINEER

Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Engineer to assist leadership in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining cloud infrastructure, implementing security and compliance standards, and optimizing performance and scalability.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Data Strategy Manager, other engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services.

This role is onsite in Rosemont, IL

Responsibilities:

• Support leadership in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Create and manage cloud resources, services, and applications.
• Implement security and compliance best practices for cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Optimize performance and scalability of cloud solutions.
• Document and update cloud architecture and processes.
• Work closely with other engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of cloud solutions.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in cloud engineering or development.
• Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficient in cloud technologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, Azure Functions, Azure Service Fabric, etc.
• Experience in cloud security and compliance standards such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Policy, etc.
• Experience in cloud performance and scalability optimization techniques such as Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights, Azure Load Balancer, etc.
• Certification in Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.

Salary : $75,000 - $105,000
