FORKLIFT OPERATOR – WESTAMPTON, NEW JERSEY
Job Description:
- Candidates must be experienced and certified on a forklift and able to fulfill the following requirements.
- Receive and unload inbound shipments of warehoused food products using a stand-up forklift.
- Sort, stage and place products in the appropriate storage areas.
- Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas.
- Prepare completed pallets of product for shipping, to include stacking, packaging/repackaging, shrink wrapping and labeling, and move product to assigned location.
- Accurately load outbound containers, shipments to meet customer demand.
- Verify product, lot numbers and quantities of orders to ensure accuracy
- Report damages or discrepancies to to supervisor.
- Perform assembly of palletized products per customer requirements.
- Have basic knowledge or experience in software applications, WMS,
Additional Qualifications:
- General mathematic skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Ability to learn and use RF equipment.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds.
- Ability to constantly walk, bend and lift.
- Perform all work duties in a safe manner and support and participate in all daily safety activities.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6 months of experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Previous Standup Forklift Experience or Forklift Certification required.
- Previous Slip Sheet Operator Certification.
