What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Specialist position at Battelle Energy Alliance dba Idaho National Laboratory?
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Project Specialist to work in our Research Accelerator Department department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our EROB Facility in Idaho Falls with every other Friday off.
You will provide support services for programs and projects according to laboratory requirements. Services include budgeting and scheduling, contracts and procurements, documents and records management, document and graphic services, and clerical support. You will report to the Manager for the Research Accelerator Department.
Responsibilities Include :
- Help develop technical, schedule, and budget baselines and maintain them during project execution.
- Support procurements of equipment and staff logistical needs.
- Support teams with product delivery according to project requirements.
- Support project managers to coordinate task activities and ensure all phases of the task(s) are documented appropriately.
- As requested, coordinate asset management, program logistics, and procurement activities.
- Develop and standardize processes to address project needs including ordering, purchasing, receiving, tracking, deployment and organizing equipment and products for assigned projects.
- Support project managers to develop documents such as execution plans, project plans, and operational guidelines.
- Track team activities.
- Coordinate internal / external activities to support project requirements.
- Mentor other staff and subcontractors for project performance.
- Minimum Requirements :
Preferred degrees in Business, Administration, Project Management, Logistics Management, or related subject areas.
Level 2 : Bachelor’s and 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s and 0 years of relevant experience.
