Job Summary
The quality control manager will support the West Desert Test Center (WDTC) as part of the Mission Support Services (MSS) contract at Dugway Proving Grounds (DPG). The individual must have a Baccalaureate with at least five (5) years of experience as a Quality Manager on a Government contract; or equivalent years of experience with direct government or contractor supporting government contracts. Must have experience in government contracts to include general contract quality management experience in safety, training and property management and general contract quality management. Must be proficient in using MS® Project or similar project management software.
Responsibilities
- Development and management of work breakdown structures. Must have demonstrated ability in monitoring, reporting, and presenting overall project cost, schedule, and performance to the customer.
- Maintain both formal and informal communications and relationships with clients including responsibility for reports and presentations.
- Achieve high technical quality in assigned projects.
- Train less experienced staff in various aspects of research, as assigned.
- Provide input to management for staff performance evaluations as requested.
