About the Role:
Are you a finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will support financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to drive strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior finance leaders, including the VP of Finance & Strategic Pricing and CFO, you will develop financial reports, analyze key performance metrics, and provide insights that enhance financial efficiency and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting & Planning
Assist in the preparation and consolidation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term strategic plans.
Maintain and update financial models to support forecasting and business planning.
Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management and board presentations.
Support in updating and managing the 5-year financial model, including balance sheet components.
Month-End Reporting & Analysis
Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and variance analysis.
Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure proper financial entries and reconciliations.
Analyze P&L variances, labor costs, and operational trends, providing actionable insights.
Maintain financial reporting tools and supported business leaders with financial data analysis.
Track strategic initiatives and evaluate performance against forecasts.
Financial Analysis & Business Support
Conduct ROI analysis to assess the impact of key business initiatives and investments.
Support franchise financial modeling, analyzing unit profitability and business trends.
Develop ad hoc financial reports to support operational decision-making.
Assist in analyzing cost allocations and recommend efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
1-4 years of relevant experience, depending on the industry.
Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools.
Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with financial systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools, dashboards) is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear.
Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Close vision required for computer work.
