For recruitment related questions, email our HR team.JOB SUMMARY BattleCreek Kids exists to glorify God by helping all kids, all the time, advance in their journey with Christ. The Associate Kids Minister works with the Kids Minister to lead a team of dream teamers that execute the weekend experience and manage the implementation of systems that create a safe, fun, and life-changing ministry for kids, parents, and dream teamers. They also lead the day-to-day operations of the kids ministry. POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSRecruit, develop, and empower dream teamers so they are operating in their strengths and accomplishing the mission of BattleCreek Kids. Ensure dream teamers and rooms are set up and ready to serve so the overall operation of the weekend is meeting expectation. Build strong relationships with dream teamers by connecting weekly via phone call or in-person. Oversee dream team orientation and training that includes appropriate placement of volunteers. Communicate daily with the Kids Minister to help reach all listed ministry specific and campus goals. Lead day-to-day operations of the kids ministry while balancing tasks and relational aspects of the role. Perform other church duties as assigned by the Kids Minister to help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ CORE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ministry Vision & Values : Models the standards and expectations of a member at BattleCreek Church in all areas of responsibility including : Profession of Jesus Christ, Baptism by immersion, commitment to personal spiritual growth, membership and worship at BattleCreek Church, Community Group participation, a lifestyle of tithing and generosity, and serving out of a call and giftedness. Policy and Procedure : Possesses knowledge (or seeks appropriate guidance) and maintains the ability to accurately apply all policies and procedures as listed in the BattleCreek employee handbook or as otherwise instructed as able to lead others. Communication : Keeps Supervisor and / or Human Resources informed of significant problems (legal or liability threat) that jeopardize the achievement of objectives. Continuous Improvement : Possesses talent, desire, passion, servant leadership and initiative to take position and department(s) to the next level while continuing the learning process to ensure the very best possible team, department and work environment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAt least 1 years' experience gained through increasing positions within discipline, preferred QUALITIES OF SUCCESS IN THIS ROLEModels the standards and expectations of a covenant member at BattleCreek Church including : profession of Jesus Christ, Baptism by immersion, commitment to personal spiritual growth, membership and worship at BattleCreek Church, community group participation, a lifestyle of tithing and generosity, and serving out of a call and giftedness. Enjoy building relationships with parents, dream teamers, and kids Have strong attention to detail and organization skills Take ownership of your own development while also developing a team Communicate and listen well Enjoy working in a multi-site environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position operated in a professional office environment but may require the following physical demands : general lifting of materials up to 20 pounds, bending kneeling, carrying, walking, and using hands / fingers to handle items. May include days where hours sitting at a computer are needed. Ability to acclimate to weather for outdoor events as needed.
