Position Summary
Battle Ground Academy is seeking an innovative and engaging Foreign Language educator to join its Lower School faculty for the 2025-2026 school year.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching elementary or middle school Spanish and/or French in an independent school setting and prior knowledge of inquiry-based instruction and/or the design thinking process. More importantly, he/she will be comfortable teaching in a student-centered learning environment and possess enthusiasm for learning and a growth mindset. A Bachelor’s degree is required and advanced degrees are preferred.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree (preferred) in French/Spanish or French/Spanish Education
