What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver position at Battletown Materials?
1st and 2nd shift opening- Start pay for 1st shift is $23.39- start pay for 2nd shift is $23.39 plus $1.25 for second shift.
Shift: 1st shift starts at 6:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.- 2nd shift 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM shift. No CDLs required.
Summary
- Shift begins at 2:30 p.m. and ends at 11:30 p.m. subject to change.5 days per week
- Saturday-Sunday-holiday could and or may be required
- Must be able to work in all types of weather. cold-hot-snow-ice-rain-wind
- Must not be afraid of heights or water
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds upstairs or catwalks
- Must be able to shovel material for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to train on other positions
- Safe worker, SAFETY FIRST.
- Help lift 50 pounds above head
- Help with plant maintenance and clean coal from barges
- Must be willing to learn to operate other mobile and crushing equipment on site and other forms of equipment as well as other tasks associated with the mining operation
