We are headquartered in Conroe, Texas and have an additional location in Livermore, California.
We are looking for a Shipping and receiving Coordinator for our Conroe office. This position would report to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
A. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tracks time (dates) from order request until the shipment leaves.
- Communicates via e-mail on each step of the shipping process (i.e., email the requestor when order is started, any updates during the process and when order is ready).
- Enters parts onto transfer PO as needed.
- Responsible for all of the transactions in VL10A, VL10B and VL02N from start to finish.
- Physically pulls parts for orders using forklift/standup/cherry picker.
- Physically prep orders for shipping.
- Takes detailed pictures of all parts/shipments and logs them accordingly.
- Acquires weights/dims and sends info accordingly within 3 hours.
- Schedules shipments in UPS/FedEx.
- Loads shipments onto trucks using forklift.
- Unloads incoming shipments using forklift.
- Checks in/verifies shipments comparing physical parts to receiving paperwork, notes any discrepancies and notifies purchasing/QC accordingly.
- Verifies default bin locations prior to receiving in MIGO.
- Does not stock any parts into “Temporary” or “New Part.”
- Receives PO’s into MIGO.
- Confirms to bin in LT22 (LT24).
- Checks all material numbers received in MD04 and issues accordingly to all OrdRes’s/Orders, etc.
- Labels all items with part number (SAP label/Dymo label) - *SAP labels only for any inventory stored outside.
- Delivers parts to destinations that have been issued or notifies responsible parties to collect.
- Utilizes forklift/standup/cherry picker to physically stock parts onto shelves ensuring that the pallet/crate/box has a sign (visible from the floor) where the part number and description can be clearly seen.
- When stocking all parts, writes the physical sap location on the receiving paperwork that the part was put in, then scans and attaches this paperwork to PO in SAP.
- Communicates accordingly via email with other involved parties.
- Loads shipments onto trucks using forklift.
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the receiving area in the warehouse.
- Submits supply orders for any needed materials for the receiving department.
- Performs daily/weekly cleaning/organization of entire warehouse including trash and sweeping.
- If shipping and receiving department is caught up, assists other departments (i.e., receiving, production/assembly, production/fabrication or production/pulling)
- Participates in cycle counts/inventory.
- Preforms any other tasks as deemed necessary by management
B. REQUIREMENTS
- Education and Training – High school diploma, or as deemed sufficient by management. Associates Degree is preferred.
- Technical Requirements – Proficient in Microsoft office and experienced with ERP software. Proficiency with SAP S4. Able to apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagrammatic, or schedule form. Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Must possess excellent communication skills. Willing and able to travel including internationally and available to work extended hours when required to complete projects on time.
- Experience – 3-5 years of directly related training and/or experience.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, sit, kneel, crawl, see, read, hear, have the physical and mental ability to travel independently and the physical and mental ability to comply with customary workshop, office, job site work environments, safety requirements and other customary regulations and requirements in these environments.
