Our practice is part of a larger network that extends into New England and Texas. Since our inception in Houston in March 2005, we have successfully expanded to cover the entire eastern region of Texas, handling around 2,300 patient evaluations each month with a supportive team of 70 professionals, including physicians and speech language pathologists.
Benefits and Compensation :
- Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on patient volume.

At Midwest Dysphagia Consultants, our mission is to deliver expert consultations for patients experiencing dysphagia, including modified barium swallow studies. Our consultations are conducted through a mobile unit, allowing us to serve various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients effectively.
Requests for swallowing studies are processed swiftly by our skilled office staff, with 95% of studies scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often on the same day, depending on daily volume and location. Our goal is to ensure that our staff can conclude their workday by 4 : 00 PM to 5 : 00 PM each day.
