Baumueller-Nuermont Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Baumüller Nürnberg GmbH representing the Baumüller Group in North America, a leading manufacturer and solutions provider of intelligent drive and automation systems, bringing digital technologies to industrial manufacturing, transportation, and other market segments to maximize sustainability, circularity, efficiency, and performance- is looking for a Midwest Account Executive (Sales Executive). 


SUMMARY: 


    • This position is responsible for creating value for Baumüller’s strategic customers by selling and delivering high-added Baumüller’s products, solutions, and services while contributing to Baumüller’s growth.
    • This position is also responsible for developing business and retaining and servicing clients in the specified geographic region.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Generates and develops new business to meet specified sales and customer satisfaction goals.
    • Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships.
    • Leads the Baumueller-Nuermont Corp. sales team. Corp.
    • Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
    • Functions as liaison between client companies and operations staff.
    • Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, policies, and procedures to new and existing clients.
    • Continually gathers information on local competition and prevalent industry and business climate within the region; communicates information to management and others as needed.
    • Negotiates contracts and work agreements.
    • Ensures that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
    • Provides timely and accurate reports as required.
    • Attends and participates in business/trade events that impact business units.
    • Attends and participates in team strategic sales meetings.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
    • However, this job requires that the Account Executive leads the Baumueller-Nuermont Corp. sales team. Corp.


WORK EXPERIENCE:


    • Have a demonstrated track record of success in a similar role in similar companies (sales, sales manager, geography account executive in industrial, automation, or similar companies).
    • Seven years of professional experience with a minimum of three years in related companies is required. 
    • It will be advantageous to understand the following businesses and market segments:
    • - Industrial products, solutions, and services. 
    • - Industrial software.
    • - Projects, system integration, and machine and equipment relocation and installation.
    • - Industrial Manufacturing
    • - Machine Manufacturing


QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
    • Computer skills are required, as well as knowledge of digitization and Internet technologies
    • It is a plus to possess servo motion and industrial automation technical knowledge.

LOCATION:


    • Remote in the US Midwest, with the possibility to work from Baumueller-Nuermont's Corp. offices in Chicago, IL.
